SAFEGUARDING
At Barbary BJJ we pride ourselves on not only providing the best possible training In Judo and BJJ but also a safe and welcoming club.
All our Instructors are fully DBS Checked every 3 years with additional Disclosure Checks through Disclosure-Scotland bi-yearly.
All DBS / Disclosure checks can be seen on request as well as all Safeguarding Training Certificates, a copy of our safe guarding, coaching, club policy and club rules are also available on request.
If you have any concerns about safeguarding please initially report them to us directly either in person or via admin@barbarybjj.com
If you do not receive a prompt response BMABA are our registered association and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), any concerns about the club response, or if you feel cant approach your instructor, you can escalate to BMABA’s professional safeguarding team at safeguarding@bmaba.org.uk
